Chicago Bears Draft Caleb Williams
Williams Agrees to 395 Million Contract
Bears Look to Improve with First Overall Pick
Chicago, IL – The Chicago Bears have selected quarterback Caleb Williams with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Williams, who played college football at the University of Southern California, is considered one of the most promising quarterback prospects in recent history.
Williams has agreed to a fully guaranteed four-year, $395 million contract with the Bears. The deal is the largest rookie contract in NFL history.
The Bears are hoping that Williams can help them improve on their 3-14 record from last season. The team has not made the playoffs since 2018.
Williams is set to make his Bears debut in Thursday’s preseason opener against the Baltimore Ravens.
